Due to the continuous success and growth of our team, we have an exciting opportunity to join our People Team as the People & Culture Advisor - (12 Month Maternity Leave Cover) at our Brighton Support Office, VIC.

What we need….                                

We are looking for a highly motivated, dynamic and passionate People & Culture generalist with experience in a similar role, preferably in the retail industry. This role requires a proven ability to work across all Human Resource functions to provide holistic support to a portfolio of Stores and the RPG Support Office.

Top Talent is considered a fundamental of RPG’s blueprint, as such the acquisition, induction, development, retention and progression of our team plays a pivotal role in RPG success. This role works cohesively within our People & Culture Team to drive the strategic pillar of Top Talent within the business.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Provide end to end Human Resource Support for a specific portfolio of Area Managers and their Stores aligned with RPG purpose ‘Provide the Ultimate Customer Experience’
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for a specific portfolio via PageUp including; creating and posting job advertisements, sourcing and screening candidates, conducting phone screens, booking and organising interviews, conducting reference checks and offers, and generating contracts
  • Provide leadership and advice to assist all facets of the business in undertaking and implementing HR processes; including but not limited to, disciplinary processes, policy interpretation and award interpretation.
  • Provide IR and ER advice in line with State and Federal legislation to all key stakeholders across all aspects of people management in Australia and New Zealand. Prepare HR reports as required
  • Ensure all employee documentation is retained and filled promptly
