Based on the growth plans for RPG, we have created a new and exciting opportunity for a Administrative Assistant to support our Finance and Operations department on a six-month fixed term contract.
Who Are We?
Retail Prodigy Group holds the master retail franchise for NIKE stores across Australia and New Zealand together with the distribution rights for U.S. brand, TOMS. We have also recently been appointed as the lead Retail operations partner for its Samsung Experience Stores (SES) in Australia.
With a current portfolio of 48 stores and 700 teammates, we continue to be on the lookout for other Premium Brands and are committed to setting new benchmarks in retail.
The role:
Reporting to our Accountant, you will be responsible for providing assistance with administrative tasks, data entry and reporting to various stakeholders, through accurate and timely processing, recording and classification of financial information.
You will have a positive customer service attitude, strong attention to detail with an ability to foster good working relationships, possess excellent communications skills, a “can do” attitude and thrive on working in a fast paced energetic environment.
Key responsibilities:
Processing & importing sale, debtors, exchange, returns, traffic data and payment allocations
Daily, Weekly sales and adhoc reporting
Bank reconciliations
Supporting at the end of month processing and schedules
Provide support to accountants, accounts receivable and accounts payable as required
Providing support in the execution of Finance game plans
Proactively work with the support team to achieve team goals
Ad hoc duties as required
To be successful in this role you will have:

Proven ability to work to set deadlines
Ability to manage multiple tasks on a day-to-day basis and to prioritise workloads accordingly
Work collaboratively as a team player and also independently
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Good understanding of retail operations preferred
Good understand of Microsoft Excel preferred
Demonstrated analytical and numerical skills
Good interpersonal and relationship building skills
